sr: "you are known as a performance poet?"

"I got tired of that form people had certain expectations of that. I wanted to create a poetry that performed itself, so I didn't have to be there holding its hand."

sr: "but you perform with it?"

k: "that’s the funny thing about it, I tried to remove myself from the performance but as soon as I started creating this stuff, it started throwing up new possiblities for performance".
